Poland published draft legislation in October 2025 proposing:
- 10-year residency requirement for naturalization (up from 3)
- Mandatory B2 Polish language test
- Loyalty oath
This currently applies to NATURALIZATION only, not descent confirmation. But Italy’s experience has everyone nervous.
